U20 Team Aims to Secure Qualification
The Moroccan U20 team enters its match against Algeria with the goal of securing a spot in the U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Senegal. The match will take place at the Suez Stadium at 7:00 PM and will be broadcast on Arriyadia, On Time Sports, and CAF’s YouTube channel.
The team started the tournament with a valuable 2-1 victory over host nation Egypt at the Suez Stadium in Ismailia. Saad Haddad opened the scoring for Morocco in the 40th minute, followed by a second goal from Othmane Maâma in the 68th minute. Egypt managed to reduce the deficit with a goal by Mohamed Al-Banna in the 49th minute.
In their second match, the Young Lions continued their strong performance with a well-deserved 2-1 win over Tunisia. Mouad Dahak scored in the 48th minute, and Reda Laalaoui added a second in the 71st minute, while Tunisia's Khalil Ayari netted his team’s sole goal in the 1st minute.

Meanwhile, the Moroccan U17 team will aim for victory in their third match against Libya. The game will take place at the Bachir Stadium in Mohammedia at 8:00 PM. This decisive match, crucial for securing a spot in the U17 Africa Cup of Nations, will be broadcast on Arriyadia Olympics, Al Maghribia (TNT Channel 5), and CAF’s YouTube channel.
The U17 team started their campaign with an impressive 5-1 victory over Egypt before drawing 2-2 in an intense game against Tunisia. The match, held at the Père Jégo Stadium, saw Ziyad Baha score the opener in the 30th minute, followed by Adam Chouita doubling the lead in the 67th minute. Tunisia later equalized to share the points.
With four points from a win and a draw, the Moroccan U17 team is now determined to secure their second victory and guarantee qualification for the upcoming continental tournament.
